REPAIRS:



Units sent in for repair will be evaluated to determine what is required to return the unit to original factory specifications. An estimate will then be prepared to inform the owner of cost and time required to obtain parts and perform the repair. Estimates will be E-Mailed to the owner within one week of receipt of the unit. Units will carry an unconditional ninety day warranty that covers the parts replaced and the labor required to replace the parts. This warranty does not cover parts that were not replaced. The owner is responsible for shipping charges to and from the repair facility. If the owner does not wish to have the unit repaired, a fee of $60.00 will be assessed to cover the cost of evaluating the unit and preparing the estimate.



UPGRADES:



A unit sent in for upgrade will have all passive components in the signal path replaced, with the exception of transformers, tube or transistor sockets, etc. Carbon composition resistors, polypropylene or polystyrene capacitors where practical, will be used to replace the original components. If large value electrolytic capacitors are in the signal path, they will be replaced with high temperature, long life types, shunted with polypropylene capacitors. Active components will be replaced as required. The unit will meet or exceed the original factory specifications upon completion of the upgrade. A unit sent in for upgrade will be evaluated to determine the cost and availability of parts and the time required to perform the upgrade. An estimate will then be prepared to inform the owner of cost and time required to obtain the parts and perform the upgrade. Estimates will be E-Mailed to the owner within one week of receipt of the unit. Units will carry an unconditional one year warranty that covers the parts replaced and the labor required to replace the parts. This warranty does not cover parts that were not replaced. The owner is responsible for shipping charges to and from the repair facility. If the owner does not wish to have the unit repaired, a fee of $75.00 will be assessed to cover the cost of evaluating the unit and preparing the estimate.




RESTORATION:



A unit sent in for restoration will be completely rebuilt and cleaned. Active components will be replaced as required. All passive components will be replaced with the exception of transformers, filter chokes, tube sockets, etc., unless these items are defective. Carbon composition resistors, polypropylene or polystyrene capacitors where practical, will be used to replace the original components. If large value electrolytic capacitors are in the signal path, they will be replaced with high temperature, long life types, shunted with polypropylene capacitors. Vintage Amplifier Restoration can provide services for professional audio equipment such as; power amplifiers, mixers, signal processors, crossovers, etc. Please send us an e-mail describing the equipment and nature of the problem.



CUSTOM DESIGN AND MODIFICATIONS:



Vintage Amplifier Restoration can provide custom designed and built equipment, or modifications for existing equipment. Projects are handled on an individual basis, please send us an e-mail describing your requirements.



PAYMENT TERMS:



Vintage Amplifier Restoration accepts money orders, personal checks, and credit cards through Pay Pal. Payment is due in full, in US funds, before the unit will be returned to the customer. Personal checks and credit card transactions must clear before shipment.



SHIPMENT AUTHORIZATION:



Please do not ship equipment to Vintage Amplifier Restoration without prior correspondence. When equipment is shipped, please provide the carrier and tracking number. If the equipment does not arrive in the specified time, the owner will be notified, and the shipment will be traced.
